use baking soda along with your toothpaste but that only remove surface stains and prevents other stains from happening (you can campare it to like what car wax does to a car) if you want white teeth use whitening strips.
Try using baking soda and hydrogen peroxide. Don’t swallow it of course, just like you wouldn’t swallow toothpaste. Mix them together just before you brush because it loses its effectiveness if you make it and let it sit around. Brush your teeth with it at least twice a day. It doesn’t taste terrific but you’ll get used to it, and you will be amazed at the results. The baking soda scrubs the stains off from things like colas or coffee or smoking (hopefully not smoking in your 13 year old case). The hydrogen peroxide (brown bottle), bleaches your teeth, just like it would your hair. Try it see what you think.

use a lot and keep the foam in your mouth for a while then spit.
oh and im 12 and i promise i didn’t brush my teeth until i was like 8 and i still didn’t brush much, my parents FORCED me. and ive been using that and my teeth have whitened
