She is too young for whitening. At this point there is not much you can do as you have to wait until she is around 16-18 as you dont want to harm the enamel that is on her teeth now. Just be sure she is brushing and flossing daily and going regularly to your dentist and hygienist.
As for special toothpastes, I usually recommend Colgate products to my patients but as I said before she is too young for whitening so sticking with a toothpaste that fights cavities and has fluoride, you are doing the best thing you can.
Ok before you go to the appointment get the tooth brush put the tooth paste on it and on top of the tooth paste put baking soda have her brush her teeth they will get super white. Dont do this alot thou. But Im positive it will work. Ive done it before dentist appointments when I was a little kid my mom told me too.
Really white? She’d have to talk to the dentist. See what her options are. Most people just don’t have pure white teeth and honestly…..pure white looks FAKE. It’s horrible. What does your daughter want? Is this for YOU or for her? They might be able to bleach them (that can damage the gums) or she may have to get porcelain veneers to cover her real teeth….both options are REALLY expensive and not covered by insurance.
make sure she flosses everyday and brushed morning and night…she does nothave to have white teeth, she’s too young. to worry about having white teeth..and don’t you tell her that she needs to have it white..just ask her to floss and brush.
Take plain baking soda and rub with a dry tooth brush all over her teeth. Then, rinse it out very well. Spit. After that, rinse with hydrogen peroxide. Spit. DO NOT SWALLOW THAT. Useing Colgate Total plain white toothpaste {no gel} brush with a manual toothbrush. Then brush with an electric toothbrush. Floss. Brush quickly again. Then, using that new mouthwash that turns plaque blue, rinse. Once it’s rinsed, have her look at her teeth. Any blue spots need to be thoroughly washed away with toothpaste and elbow grease. Do this every night 3 days before your appointment. Have her brush as frequently as possible. Invest in those Oragel finger brushes so she can take them to school. Brush in the morning too. FOR AT LEAST 2 MINUTES.
