I have this one white stain on one of my tooth and I just don’t know how to get it out. My doctor says it’s caused from lack of calcium. Anyone know how to get rid of it????
This is actually becaused of calcification process within your teeth. There’s one available in the matrket right now,you could also ask your dentist about this,it’s called GC Tooth Mousse. It’s in paste form, usually available with different flavors. You just apply it on the tooth.Besides removing the white spots,it also helps to lessen tooth sensitivity and some patients claim that it helps them with their gum problem.Hope it helps. It’s available thru dentists only or dental supplies stores. But if you have allergies on milk ,then it’s not for you. :p
You can’t really get rid of them they are part of your tooth structure. They are usually referred to as hypo calcification. If you bleach it may be less noticeable but they will usually stay a shade lighter that the rest of the surface around. If is really bad you might want veneers but these are pricey and people tend to have problems with them. You would have to do the whole front too! If that’s your only problem-no cavities on them leave well enough alone. Most people won’t notice. You don’t need to do anything a lot of people have them.
There is a product that helps get rid of calcification spots, Its called Omni gel or paste, I’ve had patients with severe cases use it, and are thrilled with the results. You can only get it through you DDS, so call and ask if they have it or they can order it for you. It comes in flavors.
